Well...I keep getting tons of emails from everyone wondering if I was going to do the Masters Pro World which was what I was planning for...I hated to be the bearer of bad news but I guess I HAVE to address this sooner or later...
I will not be in the Masters Pro World this year. I was planning on that one and that one only this year, but the promoter this year has decided to make it "invitational" and he said he wanted it to be "all legends" meaning prior Mr. Olympia winners and those of "HIS CHOOSING". If you notice the purse is unreal and so is many of his retired pros returning to the stage...some (in my humble opinion, are NOT legends or even close, but as he said, this is "his money, his choosing" and all his invitations are out. I was pretty surprised at a few of those who said they were competing...lets see if they actually do.. if all the legends show up, it looks like a great lineup!!! Too bad for me, being an IFBB pro still isn't enough to compete in a pro show.
Yeah, I'm let down and I have known for a while but I have gotten an insane amount of emails lately about this, thank you all by the way, I figured I'd better address it..easier here than by emails...
Maybe next year?
