How bout this for top 3... Victor Martinez Jay Cutler Phil Heath? Not necessarily in that order. Think the new bread(large and symetrical) will begin to take over. Jay will still be in top three, the mass boys will slowly be pushed back.

Last I know, Phil was on the fence and thinking of waiting till 08 to do his first O. Ronnie says he will be back this year. So the big guys should be around yet. Jay and Victor will be up there.

Jay will still be in top three, the mass boys will slowly be pushed back. People have been saying that since Dorian Yates took his throne as Mr. Olympia! Hell, even The Great Lee Haney was larger than the previous Olympian's. Don't be suprised to see Ronnie reclaim the throne. Even if Phil Heath does the "O" I doubt he would be in the top 3. Top 10, but not the top 3. I would love to see the "classic" look return, but it has yet to happen. The top three will have Coleman, and there is no way at this time Heath can usurp Ronnie or Jay for a placing.

Nothing will change, never has, never will...talk is talk is talk is talk..Actions speak louder than words and I have not seen anyone actually doing what they say they're going to do. If I say I'm going to do something I will or die trying. I've seen written statements, rules stated on paper, lots of talk..no walk. If the next few shows actually show some walk to the talk, you will start seeing better physiques, some you've never seen before....those are the ones who place low that they don't cover or see. There's a lot of really decent physiques that get absolutely NO coverage, they just can't see putting forth that much work and money for...nothing. There's only a few men in this sport that actually make any money from it. You have to love it. Love it or leave it. Many can't take the beating. If you have a passion for something or someone, you don't leave it. Probably why I'm still here. Think so Crom??

If you know Rusty you will find he is all about the classic look. Size, shape, balance, and definition ect... Just look at his photos. He also has a twisted sense of humor. I think his comment is in regard to the judging standards, and how the guys with the distended abs still do so well.

He does have a point with the gut statement. The problem is that the freaks are the ones that seem to push the sales of supplements and magazines. Its like the baseball home run hitters. They fill the stands at games, and the powers to be just ignored the whole"drug scene" due to the fact that these guys were their cash cows. The judges still need to make their boss happy, so they reward the physiques that make the boss' money. The WNBF has a lot of well proportioned guys, and girls, that have beautiful physiques. But, how many of them have supplement contracts, how many of the shows pull in crowds like the Arnold, or Olympia. Who here can even tell me who the #1 natural bodybuilder is right now? And Skip doesn't count, he hasn't been "natural" for who knows how long. Insuline, Growth and Suspension don't count as natural!!

Very true Bencher. The people want to see the Freaks, the fastest, and the record breakers ect... Yet those same people, writers, and media people in general are always the first to condemn the use of anabolics. The ironic thing is is that most people would not want to look like a "Ronnie" anyway. Plus they couldn't! Natural bodybuilding is a joke to. They will pick a stringy ripped body over a more developed one that is not quite so lean. What about the total package? I have been to some natural shows, and thought they should call it the lowest bodyfat % competition instead of bodybuilding. Nothing healthy about bodybuilding competitions! The act of working out is healthy, but not competing. I have competed in both open, and "natural" shows, and always was in the top 3. I found that the natural athletes tend to be more arrogant the those in open shows, as if they are better than those in "drug" shows. I have heard many naturals say "If I was on the sauce..." Blah Blah Blah! Yet they still want to know who the Olympia!!! If your natural be natural, and if your gonna use super protein be safe, and do your bloodwork. Bencher put all your blood, guts, mind and soul in to this show, and in the end you will be a champion no matter the outcome! Tear it up!
