Rusty and Lee are training together in Arizona. Recently they trained so hard together. They trained their arms, back, legs ... until they could not do anymore! All is recorded in BodyBuildersRealityDVD#24: Rusty has said "My legs are frickin' toast...we did pretty much the demented workout of the universe ....."Here is the preview clip on YouTube: In BodyBuildersReality DVD #23, Rusty said: "....We've been pretty much killing each other..'cept shoulders..I'm getting killed...(least I'm not puking like a few others...)....."Hmmm... It was a pretty barbaric workout. Russ, the guy barfing in the video had a hard day!!! Did the same in my front yard after a leg workout in the Torture Chamber...
We supersetted squats, smith machine bench, and rack deadlifts. 20 reps per set, nonstop. Then we supersetted a few other things and let's just say, I'm surprised any of us were left standing. My legs were frickin TOAST!!

Should we stop the training if we barf like Russ? Or simply eat lightly and eat long before a workout to avoid it? If I barf, I will be too weak to do something! I have to rest!

Rusty, what is it exactly about the "Hatfield" bar you like so much? We have one here at my cousin's gym. The powerlifters use it for the so called posterior chain, and when they do band work. Why do you like using it? I'm gonna start using it this week for squats. It will be brutal since I have not blasted legs in a long a** time!!! Here come da pain!!! I've got to get my arse back on the posing dias, and crush the local mortals! Time to start bangin some iron...

I know I answered you already on the phone, but for those of you who want to know...I pretty much only use the Hatfield bar for squats now. I can spot myself when I get to the point of failure and I can take my squats farther than I can with a normal squat bar. I get a MUCH better leg workout with one than with the other. Plus it doesn't kill my shoulders. I had the hand holds welded for me on my squat rack at home..awesome...did a 730 for a triple...yaaaaa
Did legs yesterday with Lee and we did 10 sets of leg extensions, then supersetted hatfield squats with leg presses. 20 reps on squat and 50 reps on leg press..did 435 on squat and 600 on the press...5 sets through..that was the beginning.....then we supersetted reverse leg press with hack squats, went through that 3 times. Then we did a giant set of reverse leg press, hacks, leg extensions and regular leg press, then invisible chair. Twice. THEN we did 2 minutes on the stairmaster as fast as we could go....try that one for the f**k of it.....Socal Photographer took pics and I'll post those pics in the members area...yes I owe it to them first, and I''ll post more here for everyone else later...I'm sore as hell, but I'll hopefully grow from it. I know my arms and back have grown, glad to have him to train with, we're having some good workouts. t

I ordered the DVD and noticed that your back and arms were bigger. I thought it was an illusion from the video but I am wrong! You really has grown! Wow! I hope you success in the coming shows! (Of course, not at the expense of your aesthetic body lines!) I take a Ginger tablet just before a workout and find that really does the trick - try it,you'd be suprised how effective it is.

I'll pass that onto Russ tomorrow, we did legs today, but it was a lot less intense than it usually is, we all are beat down. I'm dead from dieting, Lee has a busted finger..I dropped a weight stack on it, oops...Russ was fine!! That's a first!
