Rusty, did you go to the Olympia? If so what did you think of the results? Do you see a new trend coming?

Anybody out there? I spoke to Rusty the other day about the Olympia, and was wondering if any of you out there had any interesting opinions on it?

I was going to go, but ended up staying home. I just figured they'd probably finally give it to Jay, and maybe Dexter 3rd, then the rest are just the rest...which is how it always is, it seems. I don't really go for the HUGE BLOATED LOOK doing a string of mandatories, which is the mantra of the Olympia anymore, not the BEST physique onstage, just the HUGEST. Then again, I'd love to be 300+ lbs and shredded, but I don't think the best physiques were awarded the best placings, just the most anticipated placings doing what we expected. No disrespect to the competitors, but that's my take. Where was Gunter??? I thought he looked great, Markus Ruhl was HUGE and SHREDDED....then a few small men placed here and there for effect. I don't know, I guess dynamic, classic physiques are just my bag, baby!!!!
Did anyone see the most recent NPC news?? Jim Manion said I was in bad shape for the Masters and tried to justify my placing. Hello?? I was in the best shape of my life and pics don't lie. Basic symmetry, posing, condition...all there...Just look at the pics on this site....did I look smooth? Best shape I was ever in, I had striated glutes, best posing... was on ....gasp...the Masters Pro World stage...!!!! But he said I was in the worst shape he'd ever seen me in. I wonder if he even knew who I was till that show?? Just venting...

I don't agree with what Jim Manion said about you. You were the best shape ever on stage in the Masters Pro World. I am still enjoying seeing the wall paper I made from photos of you at that show. You looked really really great. Symmetrical, balanced, conditioned body is also what I think is the most aesthetical physique.
Huge guys only give us surprises but they are not really looking good in my opinion. So, don't take his words so seriously. You do have a lot of supporters here! You are great!! ;D
