So, looks like everyone else has been missing also. Wife and I have been slackers since the show July 7th. How do those of you that compete keep the "drive" going after a show? We were so glad it was over and planned on taking it easy for a week, but it has now been a couple months and have just now been getting back to something that looks like a program!

Hey there everyone. I'm training out in Concord NC. for the 08 Az. show. I plan to do the novice. Training is always cyclicle. I'm trying to incorporate more cardio now and plan to compete at around 200lbs. My recent trip to the doc. has me at 5'11' 'which made me happy in a stupid bodybuilding sort of way since I thought I was 6'1.2" : )

You're shrinking, but not in a bad way...
If you're traveling all the way here you'd better do the open as well. I've got faith! Send some "current pics" lets see what you're looking like.

I might give the open a shot. I figure this show is a one time deal so I may as well have fun and go for it. I actually did the open at the Challenge of Champions back in 1993 because the promoter, I think it was Tom Martinelli, didn't have enough contestants in the light heavies. I placed 3rd out of 3. It was the show Chris Duffy posed at painted all silver. Rusty, you are actually sitting behind me in a pic. I have from that show.
I predict Crom to win the next show he does.

He needs to get to the Torture Chamber to start paying homage to his master!!!!! Just kidding..man, what year was that, not '93...that was '83 wasn't it?? I left Tucson in '89!!! I've got some cool stuff I'm going to do this week, I'll post more of that later,,,gotta sleep, training EARLY tomorrow...YOU ARE doing the open, no reason to go through pre contest hell just for the novice!!!! Jump in and swim brother, they didn't have novice when I was competing at the local regional level...it will give you much more of a training edge..you'll bust your ass NOW!!
