Hate scales!!! I hated em when I was trying to put on mass, never showed as much of an increase as I would have thought it was going to show. And now that I am dieting, oh lets not get me started on weight loss!!

Hi all Just want your thoughts on this quote by Serge Nubret: Posted by Pro Serge Nubret Myself I used to eat as much I could, but only twice a day. And realy good food, try to eat 2 kg of lean meat a day and some rice, lentil, no sweet things and no fat at all. and follow my training.

What is that, 5lbs meat a day? And no fat? Only 2 meals, that is 2.5 pouns of meat each meal plus lentles! Dang. Not sure how he would make it through those 100 set workouts eating like that. A genetic freak if that is how he did it.

Not going to say that he is wrong because look at him, but I doubt that would work for 99% of us, plus there is no reason to do the things they did back then since we have the supplements that we have today, i.e. whey protein shakes. No reason not to eat more meals and have a few shakes during the day.

I honestly don't think that part is too much of a stretch. Why would he lie now. He isn't in the public eye and he can't get into trouble legally. He has tremendous genetics and trained as hard as anyone can. Plus you didn't have hardly any drugs at all back then. Whether or not he is natural or not makes no difference to me. One of the great physiques of all time.

When they talk about Serge in pumping iron they say he is 6' tall and 200lbs. That always boggled my mind. He looks larger than that to me.
Do you guys have any supplements (GNC type) that you like a lot? I've been taking Cell Mass and NO Xplode along with ON Whey Protein. I've been taking them for about a week. Good Flavor, haven't seen much in the way of results yet. This is my first time taking creatine.

I have never used creatine either so don't feel bad, never really considered a staple, I do use glutamine though.

Hot Stuff! That takes me back. That came out in like '90. Had EVERYTHING in it. Banana flavored I think. And I believe The Vitamin Shoppee carries the new version of it.

Franco Santoriello! Remember the Cybergenics ad that would come on during "Muscle Magazine"? He would flex then say, "Wanna look like THIS?"... Or the GNC commercial showing the two kids watching Eddie Robinson training? He invites them to go to GNC with him to get some supplements! Yeah right...
